Ford Central and Eastern European Sales LLC is looking for a

Commercial Vehicle Conversion Manager

to join our Marketing & Sales Team in our Szentendre office

Responsibilities

What will you do as a Commercial Vehicle Conversion Manager?

Position owner will be responsible for managing and identifying Converters to support manufacturer growth in the conversion market. 

  • Identifying new conversion opportunities on Ford Commercial Vehicles
  • Develop existing and build new relationships with commercial vehicle conversion specialists to ensure Ford is the vehicle of choice within the conversion industry. 
  • Support and maintain relationships with existing convertors.
  • Manage and develop relationship with Convertors.
  • Present overview of Ford base vehicles for conversion. 
  • Increase the number of Ford platform vehicles for conversion.
  • Provide guidance and liaison in the development of new conversions including Special Vehicle Options.
  • Manage and develop relationship with accredited Ford Pro Convertor (FPC)
  • Identify cost savings on donor vehicles such as parts which are disposed/redundant through conversion.
  • Develop Convertor growth strategies looking at individual vocations and/or Fleet customers.
  • Facilitate integrated marketing communications.
  • Being voice of the convertor and share market intelligence on all conversion industry segments
  • Hold training for dealer,converter,NSC; develop training materials

Qualifications

Are we looking for you? Yes, if…

  • You hold a University/College Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
  • You have 5 years of experience in engineering or sales, considered an advantage.
  • You are experienced in the Medium CV and Converter industry.
  • You understand CV systems, including chassis, bodywork, electrical, and mechanical modifications.
  • You are knowledgeable in vehicle homologation, safety standards, and regulations.
  • You are familiar with CAD software, blueprint reading, and vehicle design principles.
  • You have experience with uplifters, OEMs, and third-party suppliers.
  • You understand the CV market and customer needs.
  • You can manage vehicle conversion projects from concept to delivery.
  • You have knowledge of dealer operations and consulting experience.
  • You can build client relationships, understand needs, and provide technical solutions.
  • You have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • You are skilled in Excel and have strong analytical abilities.
  • You are accurate in your work and meet planning and target goals.
  • You are a self-starter with a "can-do" attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • You are flexible to travel.
